Who I Am

ErinMy name is Erin Resko and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in Hailey/Ketchum, Idaho.  I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR where I received my Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.  Previously, I received my BS at The University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder, CO in Integrative Physiology.  Just following graduation in 2012, I extended my studies to emphasize Sports Medicine and traveled to the Kyushu region of Japan to get hands on experience with collegiate athletes.  In addition I also spent time assisting in a hospital, providing integral care to a wide range of patients and disorders.  It was an experience that was valuable beyond words.

My hope is to create a practice that treats athletes from the novice to the premier, offering preventative care as well as rehab therapy.  My goal is to provide exemplary care to every person that walks through my door, providing an individualized treatment and treatment plan that is thorough and specifically suited to your needs.

In addition to practicing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine I am also a certified Ketllebell Coach.  Currently, I am teaching private group classes for small businesses in Hailey, Id.

I am  an avid recreational athlete & love to train & work hard.  I am also a Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation alumni and former member of the United States Freestyle Development Ski Team.

I believe feeling good, both body and mind is at the root of our well-being; and I strive to create this perfect balance in my own life as well as help you in yours.  My hope is to educate and empower my patients to create their best health.  In order to achieve this, I will combine many different therapies including, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, bodywork/massage (Tuina), exercise, lifestyle coaching and education as well as nutritional advice.

My goal is to enhance your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lives as well as share my knowledge with you so you can take control of your own health and well-being.

Please keep in touch with me!  You can access information for clinic & scheduling as well as my Essential Healing Blog from this website.  My blog will act as an open forum to share ideas and my knowledge with you throughout our journey.  After all, as Lao Tzu says “the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” (or in this case, one word).

~be well, be present & never forget the pleasure of your journey~

      Hey Scott,
Thanks for the feedback! I usually get all of my images from flickr and they usually link to the site, however, I see that this one doesn’t do that… I can’t technically give you permission as it is not “my” photo & since I can not find my link, I may have to take this one off of my site and replace it. Glad you found some useful info and I hope you keep reading 🙂 Thanks again,
